Pretty decent quality sushi. The service was a tad under par when a reservation made for 2 and one of us had arrived, but the girl was hesitant to let me in. I had to specifically ask to be seated. Then, I get queried about when my partner would arrive. The thing is... it isn't like outside if the restaurant there was any horde of people waiting to get in. In fact, for the duration of our 1 hour long meal, seats cleared out and only 2 net new diners came in. So, why such need to be hesitant? I spend more on service than food because that overshadowed the latter. In the end, the sushi was good but not exceptional that I need to write about.
Casual omakase experience. A mix of platter and individual pieces. Rlly good quality seafood for a decent price. Reso in advance.
Quite a delicious small sushi shop, serving very freshly made sushi by the sushi chefs right in front of us 🍣
Very hygienic, very efficient kitchen and staff too. All sashimi and sushi were delicious. The hand rolls especially - you can see how fresh and crispy the seaweed is. Highly recommended! Plus it’s not belt-sushi so certified everything equally fresh.
My favourite was the flying fish roe hand roll, egg sushi and scallops
Not too crowdy on a early Saturday night.
➖ just a minus point it doesn’t have much hot snacks though. Could do with a bit more - such as edamame.
A decent sushi shop in causeway bay provides good quality of sushi. This is a clean & tidy shop with attentive staff. Four sushi masters there, so they can make a quick delivery of sushi when they receive orders. Wide variety of choice in different sushi & my favourite is scallop hand roll.
In certain time slot, they offer 50% discount on most of the sushi.
Having read all the great reviews about this place, I set my expectations really high for it. Unfortunately, my experience is rather disappointing.
The sushi pieces are ridiculously tiny that I was given the impression that they are trying to skimp on the ingredient in order to afford the high rent in CWB. Not to mention they also charge 10% for service where there was zero service involved and you need to make your own tea.
The seats are very crowded so don’t come here if you’re on a date or with a group. For the same price point (if you’re ready to pay $200-$300 pp.), there are a lot of better options with better food and environment.
very fresh fishes and good quality seafoods. rice also so delicious. similar to great sushi shop in japan. finally the price is not expensive. highly recommended!!
Super value for money. Place is small but yet comfortable. Sushi are so fresh especially the uni and Toro.
Tried the Omakase -Gin on a Wednesday afternoon around 15:00 and only 3 guests in the restaurant so I can enjoy the good food in a quiet manner.
